Youth Sports




Soccer and basketball are currently offered for students grades Kindergarten – 6th grade (soccer) and Kindergarten – 7th grade (basketball) who attend Gulfside Elementary School, Paul R. Smith Middle School or who reside in the Holiday Lake Estates community. Click on the sport you are interested in for more details.

Cost to participate (for all sports) is determined by free and reduced lunch status to allow participation by all:

– Student receives free and reduced lunch = $25

– Student does not receive free and reduced lunch = $35

Each player will receive a team t-shirt to wear throughout the season.  Players will also be recognized at the end of the season banquet and award presentation where they receive a trophy and team picture.  The luncheon and award presentation takes place immediately after the last games of the season at the same location.

Winter Soccer

Who: Teams are created by grade level and play each other throughout the season:

  • K- 2nd grade – games are 9AM – 10AM
  • 3rd – 6th grade – Games are 10:30AM – 11:30AM

Where: Games and practices are played at Paul R. Smith Middle School.

When: February 9, 2019 – March 30, 2019

How: Registration is done in two easy steps: 



Basketball (co-ed teams)

Who: Teams are created by grade level and play each other throughout the season. Teams are based on registration number Kindergarten – 7th grade.

Where: Paul R. Smith Middle School

  • Thursday practices will tentatively be 5:30PM-6:30PM.
  • Saturday games will tentatively be 9AM-Noon.

When: April 20, 2019 – June 8, 2019

How: Registration will be available in March of 2019.
