Emergency Solutions Grant – Homeless Prevention
Beginning in October 2024, we will offer financial assistance utilizing the Emergency Solutions Grant for Homeless Prevention. This assistance is for Pasco County residents only with a total family income below 30% AMI, with an active lease and facing an eviction. Not all inquiries will qualify.
All applications must provide the following items to determine eligibility in the program:
- Proof of income for all household members (4 months of paystubs, 6 months of bank statements, SSI or SSD award letter, child support payments)
- Government issued photo ID
- Social Security Card for all in household
- Valid rental lease (signed, all pages)
- Copy of Eviction Notice OR “3-Day notice” (all pages)
- Copies (all pages) of utility bills (water/electric) in any household member’s name and with a service address corresponding to applicant’s address.
- Child verification: birth certificates OR shot records
- Proof of child support (if applicable)
Applicants are required to create a housing stabilization plan and allow a case worker to provide monthly follow up to assist with the long-term housing stability plan.

Tenant Based Rental Assistance – Senior Citizen (Referral Based Program)
Beginning in October 2024, we will offer financial assistance utilizing the Tenant Based Rental Assistance Program dedicated to prevent senior citizens from becoming homeless. This assistance is for Pasco County residents only with a total family income below 60% AMI, with an active lease and facing housing instability. Not all inquiries will qualify. Clients must be referred from another agency working with senior citizen.
