Pasco Tax Collector’s Staff Collects $11,100 for One Community Now’s Hunger Walk

Pasco County Tax Collector Mike Fasano and Staff raised over $11,100 to benefit One Community Now’s 2019 Hunger Walk. The Hunger Walk is an annual event which raises money to fund the “Pack-a-Sack 4 Kids” program.

Pack-a-Sack is in many schools throughout Pasco County. Children who need food over the weekend are given a backpack of food every Friday. Full of nutritious meals, the backpacks contain enough food to sustain the children until they return to school on Monday.

“It is a great honor for our staff to be a part of this wonderful program,” comments Tax Collector Mike Fasano. “There are so many hungry children living in our community. It is a blessing that Pack-a-Sack 4 Kids is in place to make sure they have access to food. Thank you to everyone who donated to this great cause.”
