OCTOBER 18 – 21 2018

What is a Stand Down?

Stand Down –  a temporary cessation of offensive actions; cease-fire; truce.

A Stand Down afforded battle-weary soldiers the opportunity to renew their spirit, health and overall sense of well-being. That is the purpose of the One Community Now Stand Down for all Veterans and their families in our community. We want to be able to give back to Veterans, as they have once sacrificed for us. When you exit the military, it stays with you for your life time. At One Community Now we hope to offer a wide array of support services and resources for all Veterans and their immediate family members that include: medical, dental, mental and PTSD health, housing, employment, education, legal, and personal hygiene for those who may need it. Veterans may need only one service, or may benefit from all, but no matter what, we want to be here for our Veterans.

The Stand Down is a time of comradery and to honor our nations Veterans for their services.

Welcome!

We are happy to have you here.

Make a Memorial or Honor Gift in a Loved One’s Name

During the 2018 One Community Now closing ceremony we would like to give friends and families the opportunity to donate in the Honor or Memory of a loved one.
