Soccer

Soccer, basketball and cheerleading are currently offered for students in grades Kindergarten – 7th grade who attend Gulfside Elementary School, Paul R. Smith Middle School or who reside in the Holiday Lake Estates community. 

Cost to participate (for all sports) is determined by financial need. 

– Student receiving free and reduced lunch = $25 registration fee 

– Student does not receive free and reduced lunch = $35 registration fee

Each player will receive a team t-shirt.  Players will also be recognized at the end of the season banquet and award presentation with a trophy and team picture.  The luncheon and awards presentation takes place immediately after the last game of the season at the same location.

Soccer

Winter Soccer

Who: Teams are created by grade level and play each other throughout the season:

  • K – 2nd grade: games are 9AM – 10AM
  • 3rd – 7th grade: Games are 10:30AM – 11:30AM

Where: Games are played at Anclote High School and practices are played at Paul R. Smith Middle School.

When: Dates for 2020 have not been determined yet. 

How: Registration is closed at this time. 

 

Basketball & Cheerleading

Basketball (co-ed teams)

Who: Teams are created by grade level and play each other throughout the season. Teams are based on number of children registered. Open to children in grades Kindergarten – 7th grade.

Where: Paul R. Smith Middle School

  • Tuesday practices from 5:30PM-6:30PM.
  • Saturday games  9-10 AM and 10:30-11:30 AM.

When: Spring 2020 

How: Registration is closed at this time. 

Cheerleading 

Who: Girls and boys interested in learning the basics of cheerleading will enjoy practicing cheers and performing during games. 

Where: Paul R. Smith Middle School

 

When: Cheerleading is offered during the same season as basketball. Usually offered in the spring. 

How: Registration is closed at this time.
