OPERATION STAND DOWN

The One Community Now Operation Stand Down will be held April 19 – 20, 2024.  This event is open to all homeless and in-need veterans and their immediate family members who desire to get connected to resources that can help them get ahead in life. All services, resources, meals, transportation, and overnight accommodations are provided free of charge and made possible by financial sponsorships and donations from our community. This event helps to break down the barriers that are keeping these heroes on the streets.

*Veteran Pre- Registration is closed. Veterans can register at the event “Veteran’s Check-In Table.”

-$10 entry fee per person (Cash only day of the event)

Quarters For Kids – Quarter Auction 

What is a Quarter Auction? It is best described as a live Auction meets Bingo!

A game night perfect for ALL members of your family, join Us May 10, 2024. Admission price will buy you a numbered paddle for bidding and free refreshments throughout the evening. There will be over 50 items to bid on. When an item comes up that you want to win, toss in a quarter and hold up your paddle. If your number is called, YOU WIN the item. All auctions are 1-4 quarters! Grab your friends and family and bring lots and lots of quarters for an evening of fun!

VETERANS SUPPORT CENTER – 4620 PROFESSIONAL LOOP, NPR

Join us at the Veterans Support Center every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 10 am to 2 pm! Open to all veterans, it’s a time for camaraderie, learning about veterans’ benefits and community services. We provide free showers, laundry facilities, food, clothing, and resources for veterans in need. Every week, various veteran organizations’ service providers are on hand to answer questions and offer guidance.

On the 2nd Tuesday of each month, in partnership with the Chapters Health Valor Program of HPH Hospice, we offer classes and support groups to help veterans overcome life barriers. Resources are also tailored to veterans’ needs.

The One Community Now Pack The Park For Pack A Sack is our annual fundraiser for the Pack A Sack Food 4 Kids program. The event will take place at Sims Park in Downtown New Port Richey on Saturday, October 19, 2024. All are welcome to attend this family-friendly event, which includes a fall festival, as we raise awareness of chronic hunger among school-aged children in Pasco County. Join us in our fight to end childhood hunger!
